Mr. Danse is a seasoned life science executive whose experience over four decades has involved business development, product development, commercialization and executive leadership roles at various start-ups as well as large corporate life science entities. These roles involved a variety of technologies, including biopharmaceuticals (Schering-Plough,ISTA Pharmaceuticals, Cella Therapeutics), recombinant drug delivery (Neurotech Pharmaceuticals), biotechnology (Acucela), implantable medical devices(Allergan, Replenish) and durable medical equipment (Allergan). His business development experience spans multiple deal structures, including licensing, M&A and commercial/ R&D collaborations.

Earlier in his career Mr. Danse was responsible for taking ISTA Pharmaceuticals public (NASDAQ) in2000. He also held various senior positions at Allergan including President of the Asia-Pacific Region where he was responsible for establishing a high-growth, profitable business operation in Japan, China and the rest of Asia.
